To my friends and neighbours in Collingwood. Thank you 4336 times.

With forty years experience in business, I can promise you: I am decisive; fiscally responsible; use a high degree of common sense; gather the facts and have a reputation for being a good listener.

I am retired and have the time to devote to the business of Council and nothing else.

Now's the time.......

Time for.....
Fiscal responsibility. It's your money!
Control our ever growing debt.

Time for......
Intelligent, common sense decisions!
Re examine the procedural bylaw; the patio decision and the Admiral Collingwood Project.

Time for.....
Listening and paying more attention to our citizens!
Don't lose sight of the basics.

Time for......
Change!

My Background

I began my career in Marketing/Advertising in 1970 with a boutique agency in Toronto. After two years I moved to the client side of the business and spent over four years in the marketing department, as a product manager, at one of the world's largest drug companies.

In late 1977, I joined a leading international advertising agency as an account executive, handling the agency's largest account. Before I left in 1985 I was Vice-President in charge of an account group, managing millions of dollars in advertising revenue.

My next challenge was to partner with three other advertising executives and open our own agency.

In 1988 it was time for me to go it alone. I opened my own communication business and operated it until 1993.

The lure of living fulltime in Collingwood was too great, so I moved here permanently in 1991. I opened my business, Livery Lane Wines, and spent the next 15 years serving my wonderful customers. I've recently sold the business and now's the time to embark on my next challenge, representing you on Council.

In addition to my business career, I am a past President of the Optimist Club of Collingwood. Served as a board member on the York County Hospital Foundation and am currently the President of the Noisy River Fishing Club.

I love golfing, tennis, skiing and in general enjoy all outdoor activities. I am a past soccer coach and an extensive traveler, but best of all, I am the proud father of three children and five amazing grandchildren.

Life is good in Collingwood.

Thanks for your support,

Kevin
